Every great journey has a soundtrack, and at HARMAN, we're passionate about making every note sound extraordinary. Recently, our Bowers & Wilkins brand brought music, design, and storytelling together for an exclusive launch celebration of the Px8 S2 flagship wireless headphones. The evening offered attendees a behind-the-scenes look at our campaign featuring global brand ambassador, David Beckham, accompanied by a new, unreleased track from James Blake, demonstrating HARMAN's unwavering commitment to elevating listening experiences through innovation and artistry.

Held at Ladbroke Hall in West London, the evening opened with a fireside chat hosted by acclaimed broadcaster Lauren Laverne, who led a conversation with David Beckham and Grammy Award-winning artist James Blake exploring the intersection of music, lifestyle, and cutting-edge audio technology.
During the discussion, Beckham shared an inside look at his personal soundtrack, from his travels around the world to quiet moments at home in the countryside and reflected on his personal connection to Bowers & Wilkins' "For the Journey" campaign that highlights exceptional sound, comfort, and elevated design of the Px8 S2.
Meanwhile, Blake discussed his creative vision behind his unreleased track "Make Something Up," the soundtrack to the Px8 S2 campaign. He described it as a song that sounds like freedom, which he credits to the fact that he wrote it on a guitar, an instrument that he does not play often. “Writing on an unfamiliar instrument pushes you out of your usual patterns, and in a way, that gives you the freedom to just be yourself.” For Blake, collaborating with Beckham on the campaign felt particularly meaningful: “I have so many memories of watching him play, which makes this whole collaboration feel even more special."
Blake also offered guests at the event an exclusive first listen to unreleased tracks. The evening culminated with Blake's stripped-back acoustic performance, featuring both never-before-performed new music and beloved tracks from his 15-year career.
The Px8 S2 are Bowers & Wilkins' best-sounding headphones yet, and Beckham can attest: “I've been using them for a few weeks now, and I always think Bowers & Wilkins headphones can't get any better, but they always do," Beckham shared. With 30 hours of battery life and the most advanced noise cancellation technology to date, the Px8 S2 headphones deliver the True Sound of the artist's intent.
The Px8 S2 headphones elevate Bowers & Wilkins’ iconic design DNA while delivering uncompromised performance, comfort, and style. There was no better way to bring them to life than through this event that embodied what we value at HARMAN: the seamless integration of cutting-edge technology with authentic human experiences. Through our premium audio brands like Bowers & Wilkins, we continue to push the boundaries of what's possible in audio and transform how we experience music – setting new standards for performance and design.
